I wanted to capture the quiet resilience of a people holding on to life amid destruction. With this belief, I directed Gaza’s Lost Horizon.

Film Festivals

After just one month of distribution, my film Gaza’s Patient Heart has been accepted into 13 film festivals, won 1 award, and received 2 honorable mentions. I served as the director, producer, DOP, gaffer, sound recordist, sound editor, colorist, film editor, and distribution manager. This was a fully independent project that I personally funded.

Film Story

Gaza's Lost Horizon is a short fiction film told from the perspective of a paralyzed Gazan child injured during the ongoing Israeli genocide. This silent film unfolds entirely through the child’s limited view of the ceiling, the only horizon they now see each day. Inspired by the real experiences of thousands of children in Gaza who lost their ability to move, the story captures a world defined by stillness, silence, and unseen suffering. The ceiling becomes both a symbol of confinement and a fragile reminder of survival. Gaza's Lost Horizon is not only a film but also a quiet scream for the world to witness the endurance of children living in silence and the weight of their unspoken pain.
