Where hope falls like rain, stories grow stronger. With this belief, I directed Gaza’s Rain.

Film Festivals

After just one month of distribution, my film Gaza’s Rain has been accepted into 17 film festivals, won 3 awards, and received 4 honorable mentions. I served as the director, producer, DOP, gaffer, sound recordist, sound editor, colorist, film editor, and distribution manager. This was a fully independent project that I personally funded.

Film Story

Gaza’s Rain tells the story of a Palestinian nurse who lived through the horrific massacre at Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza, one of the darkest chapters of the ongoing Israeli genocide. After surviving the attack and being rescued to Qatar, he finds himself reunited with patients he once treated in Gaza, a haunting reminder of shared suffering and fragile survival.

Haunted by the memory of colleagues who were killed and patients he could not save, he struggles to adapt to life after such immense trauma. Yet, despite displacement and grief, he is determined to continue his path in nursing. For him, every act of care is not only a way to rebuild his own life but also a living tribute to Gaza’s medical workers who gave everything to heal others and paid the ultimate price.

The film captures his profound journey through grief, resilience, and unshaken hope. Each step he takes forward becomes a testament to survival, a defiance against genocide, and a symbol of the enduring strength of those who heal amid devastation and loss.
